One of our clients in the insurance field is looking for a consultant to work in a business team who develops small flexible tools for internal customers to help improve efficiency by automating tasks. They are currently migrating their tools (mostly fat clients) to the Azure-cloud in a lift & shift mode with the help of an external partner. The main tasks of this mission will be to help/coach the team to make the transition to Azure cloud in a hands on way. You will bring your cloud experience and work together with the team, guiding them to :
- Define the development principles for the future, aligned with standards
- Create the first applications directly on Azure
- Identify modernization needs in line with cloud standards and start implementing them on our migrated applications
Skills required
- Knowledge of: Azure – SQL server DBs – .net Core 6 – GIT
- knowledge of P&C insurance (nice to have)
- Knowledge of WPF / Telerik (nice to have)
- You’re Dutch or French speaking with a good knowledge of the other language, as well as English
