In his roles as a Business Analyst, Enterprise and Cloud Architect, and Technical DevOps Lead, he has led efforts to modernize infrastructure and streamline operations, focusing on cost reduction, centralized monitoring, and implementing a multi-domain SSO platform. His expertise spans system and database management, containerization, architecture design, and business analysis, enabling the successful transition of various digital assets to a hybrid cloud environment.

As an Enterprise and Cloud Architect, he has designed and automated both on-premises and cloud infrastructures (AWS & Azure), leading DevSecOps initiatives and optimizing deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps. He also oversees Kubernetes and Kafka architecture, guiding teams in CI/CD processes and microservices deployment.

As a Technical DevOps Lead, he manages change and release processes, supports Scrum activities, and provides comprehensive documentation and training. His work includes designing cloud-based CMS infrastructure and developing a robust migration plan to Azure, ensuring seamless integration of applications and solutions within Kubernetes clusters.

As an Enterprise and Cloud Architect, he led the digital transformation of the institution’s infrastructure, migrating from on-premises systems to a private cloud environment (OVH) using Red Hat OpenShift for containerization.

As an AWS Cloud Architect for a European security institute, he spearheaded the digital transformation from on-premises infrastructure to a public cloud environment using AWS. This project included the migration of Oracle Hyper-converged systems (Exadata) and containerization on Red Hat OpenShift to enhance the institute’s capabilities in monitoring and tracking citizen movements across Europe. 

His responsibilities involved:

• Designing and securing AWS cloud infrastructure
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible
• Managing AWS accounts with a secured Landing Zone
• Setting up comprehensive logging, auditing, and threat detection services

In his role as DevSecOps Architect and Program Manager, he led the project management and security design phases for cloud deployments, defining security protocols and CI/CD pipelines across all environments. He played a pivotal role in transitioning from Waterfall to Agile methodologies and improving DevOps infrastructure, leading teams in deploying scalable solutions and automating deployments.

Additionally, as Configuration and Deployment Manager, he focused on maintaining system scalability and performance, automating monitoring systems, and ensuring robust documentation and adherence to operational standards. His extensive experience in system architecture and cloud management allowed for a seamless transformation of the institute’s infrastructure, enhancing security, scalability, and operational efficiency.

As a DevOps Engineer, he was responsible for maintaining continuous deployment processes using Chef Automation Tool and ensuring the smooth operation of build releases through Jenkins.

He managed RPM package repositories with Artifactory and JFrog, as well as source version repositories with Bitbucket, ensuring efficient version control and deployment.

Additionally, he defined security workflows involving SSL/TLS protocols and monitored encryption processes to safeguard sensitive data. His role also included administering Certificate Authorities (CA), maintaining network and application topologies, and managing internal documentation using Confluence.

Through these efforts, he enhanced the security, efficiency, and reliability of his client’s infrastructure and DevOps practices.

He served as a DevOps Engineer, where he was instrumental in designing and automating the DevOps infrastructure using tools like Ansible, GitLab, and TFS.

He integrated Ansible modules with external APIs and standardized application delivery processes to enhance self-service automation.

As a technical coach, he facilitated CI/CD integration and optimized build and release workflows, leading daily stand-up meetings in alignment with Agile methodologies.

Additionally, as Technical Expert, he managed the decommissioning of Release Automation and implemented Ansible automation, configured Ansible Tower, and synchronized inventories with GitLab, while also providing coaching and training to on-site Unix teams.
