Business Analyst

Context

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst with End User Computing skills to provide support to the Solvency DQ Officer and to the B.U. teams to work on a project regarding Data Quality on Solvency II process (LINK Project).

Responsibilities

In coordination with other stakeholders of the project (B.U., IT, Data Office…), the mission of the business analyst will be:

• Regarding workstream ‘Data flow documentation’:
  • The collection, in the B.U., of documentation on data, IT systems, transformation steps and data lineage
  • Helping the B.U. in the identification of the sources of their data and coordinating with the Data Office Team in order to provide them with the correct information to complete the data lineage up to the operational sources.
• Regarding workstream ‘Control inventory and identification of validation steps’:
  • The Identification of 1st line of defense controls in all B.U., and mapping to underlying data
• Regarding workstream ‘Implementation of DQI and harmonization among entities’:
  • Attending, with the owners/stewards of the B.U., the several workshops organized by the Group with other client entities within the same field of activity
  • Helping the B.U. with writing the new DQI specifications to be implemented in Informatica (Data Office Team).

Profile

• Experience / knowledge in Insurance, and more particularly in the following fields of activity: technical P&C, Value Management Life and P&C, Risk Management Life, Market and Credit
• Good analysis abilities
• End User Computing skills/experience: Excel, SQL, SAS EG (experience in Collibra is a +)
• Good communication skills
• Language skills: French, Dutch and English
